My business, 50,0000 Books, which had served El Cajon for over 20 years, was closed as a retail shop around April of 2004. This was a very difficult decision. I had been in a redelopment area for most of my entire time in business.

I started this blog to talk about this experience and anything else I found streaming throu my consciousness.

It's been almost two years since I closed the store, but it has been a slow process letting go of the experience, and frustration of being in a redevelopment district. I have written about this on my website http://50000books.com and intend to dump some of that material into this blog.
